Kidney Stones

This site generally deals with gallstone problems, however, we get many questions from visitors about kidney stones.

Kidney Stone Symptoms and Treatment Overview

If you suspect that you have kidney stones you may have the following kidney stone symptoms:

  • Severe pain in the side and back, below the ribs
  • Pain that spreads to the lower abdomen and groin
  • Pain on urination
  • Pink, red, or brown urine
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Persistent urge to urinate
  • Fever and chills,  if an infection is present
  • These symptoms are quite different than gallstone symptoms.

Your kidneys filter waste and extra water from your blood.  This is then directed to your bladder in the form of urine.  A kidney stone is, simply, a solid piece of material that forms from the substances in your urine.

    Types of Kidney Stones

    • Calcium Kidney Stones.   The most common kidney stones are calcium stones, usually made from calcium oxalate.  High oxalate levels can be found in some fruits and vegetables, as well as in nuts and chocolate.  Your liver also produces oxalate.  Dietary factors, high doses of Vitamin D, intestinal bypass surgery, and several different metabolic disorders can all increase the concentration of calcium or oxalate in urine.  Calcium stones may also occur in the form of calcium phosphate.
    • Struvite Kidney Stones.   Struvite stones form in response to an infection, such as a urinary tract infection.  Struvite stones can grow quickly and become quite large.
    • Uric Acid Kidney Stones.   Uric acid stones can form in people who are dehydrated, those who eat a high-protein diet, and/or those with gout.  Certain genetic factors and disorders of the blood-producing tissues also may predispose you to uric acid stones.
    • Cystine Kidney Stones.   These stones represent only a small percentage of kidney stones.  They form in people with a hereditary disorder that causes the kidneys to excrete excessive amounts of certain amino acids (cystinuria).
    • Other Kidney Stones.   Other, rarer types of kidney stones can occur.

    Kidney Stone Treatment

Many people will simply pass stones, drinking 10-12 glasses of water may help.  Do not count other drinks such as coffee, sodas, etc.   If water flushing does not work after a few days and the pain and other symptoms persist an oral supplement may be needed.

One all natural product has been known and used for close to 1000 years.   It comes from the Amazon rain forest.   It is a small, naturally occuring herb about a foot tall.   The extract from this herb was named ‘Chanca Piedra’ by Spanish explorers.   Chanca Piedra is Spanish for ‘Stone Crusher’.   There have been dozens of clinical tests done with this natural kidney stone dissolver.

    How Does Chanca Piedra Work?

The active ingredients in chanca piedra are thought to prevent calcium oxalate crystals from forming.   It also is thought to break the matrix that holds existing stones together.   Another noted property of chanca piedra is its antispasmodic characteristics.   This causes the urinary tract muscles to relax thus allowing the easy and painfree passing of stones.

In 1990, Nicole Maxwell reported that Dr. Wolfram Wiemann (of Nuremburg, Germany) treated over 100 kidney stone patients with chanca piedra obtained in Peru and found it to be 94% successful in eliminating stones within a week or two.

    Genuine Chanca Piedra Availability

Chance Piedra is now available from this site.   This is a special 10:1 extract that contains NO FILLERS.   Other products on the market are full of fillers and preservatives.   The product below also contains NO PRESERVATIVES, Colors, Sweeteners, or Dairy products.   Please read the risk information before ordering.

Many other chanca piedra products are ‘leaves and stems’ and other things.   Such products contain very low quantities of the actual effective ingredients and will probably do nothing for you.   The product below is a very strong, 100 % pure extract in a 10:1 ratio.   We believe that this is the most effective kidney stone dissolver on the market.   Do not settle for cheap, low quality products when your health is in question.
